FAS is putting its construction knowledge and experience to work in helping to build the 50th Habitat for Humanity Home in Williamson County, Texas. Construction of the house, located in the city of Round Rock, kicked off on April 21st with an expected completion date of June 2nd.
As a sponsor of the project, FAS employees will be on site helping to construct the home for several days in May. The company will also be participating in the completion ceremony.
“This is such a wonderful opportunity -- not only for the family who will receive the home, but also for FAS employees participating in the project. FAS has experienced tremendous success and growth on a national scale over the past few years. We are excited to now be able to give some of that success back to our local community,” says Shannon Kirchoff, FAS Assistant VP of Construction Services, and the Company’s lead on this project. “In a time when so many families are struggling with home ownership, it’s satisfying to be able to help build what will one day become someone’s home.”
